Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Is a US-Norwegian enterprise, officially registered in Monrovia , Liberia [2] and headquartered in Miami , USA. It is the second largest cruise company in the world. It includes five subsidiaries of Celebrity Cruises , Royal Caribbean International , Pullmantur Cruises (which also owns Pullmantur Air ), Azamara Club Cruises and CDF Croisières de France . In addition, the company owns 50 percent of the shares of TUI Cruises .

Enterprise history and brands
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. was established in 1997 on the basis of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, founded in 1968, and bought by Celebrity Cruises , founded in 1988. It was decided to retain both brands after the merger, only here the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line was renamed Royal Caribbean International and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. became for both daughters the parent company.
Third brand for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. became Island Cruises , as a joint venture with the British First Choice Holidays , providing access to the markets of the UK and Brazil.
In November 2006, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. bought Pullmantur Cruises in Madrid (Spain), which ensured the creation of new cruise lines, in May 2007, Azamara Club Cruises was created as a daughter of Celebrity Cruises . [4] and in May 2008, CDF Croisières de France , aimed at a client who speaks French. Another new cruise company was TUI Cruises , which began operations in 2009. The brand is directed to a German-speaking audience and is a joint venture with TUI Travel PLC . [five]
