Nelt - a river in the Khabarovsk Territory of Russia . It flows through the territory of Nanai district . The river is 47 km long [2] . The catchment area is 378 km² [2] .

It begins east of the Tigrovy Dom Mountain in a mountainous region covered with birch-spruce and birch-ash forests [3] [4] . It flows in a south-westerly direction, in the lower reaches, below the mouth of the Left Nelta, turns to the north-west and flows through a swampy area. It flows into the Muchen river on the right at a distance of 72 km from its mouth [2] .
The main tributaries are Kova, Kabaniy (right), Svetly, Bolotny (left) [3] , Left Nelta [5] .
The food has a mixed mainly snow and rain. The opening of the river takes place in mid-April. In summer, frequent floods caused by intense prolonged rains .
