Igor V. Voinov is a Russian scientist, inventor, since 2001 a professor, since 2002 an academician of the International Academy of Open Education [1] [2] , and since 2010 he has been the head of the Miass City District .

Biography
Igor Vyacheslavovich was born on October 7, 1950 in Baku . In 1953, the family moved to Chelyabinsk . There he graduated from school with a gold medal, after which he entered the Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute . After graduating, he moved to Miass , where he worked in the Miass Electromechanical Research Institute (now - NPO Electromechanics). Over the years, he introduced many inventions and was marked with the signs "Excellence in Inventions of the Ministry" and " Inventor of the USSR " [3] .
- In 1991-93 - Deputy Director for Research, NPP Resurs;
- Since April 1993, head of the Miass Property Management Committee;
- In 1995 - the head of the Miass administration (predecessor - V. Vertiprakhov ; successor - M. Yu. Zhmaev );
- In 1997-2000, Deputy General Director of UralAZ OJSC;
- Since 2000, the director of the Branch of the South Ural State University in Miass (predecessor - Babkin A. I. , successor - Grishai B. N.);
- Since December 2000 - Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk Region ;
- In 2006 - re-elected to the Legislative Assembly;
- In 2010–2015 - the head of the Miass city district (predecessor - I. Biryukov ; successor - G. A. Vaskov );
- Since 2015 - Director of the Branch of the South Ural State University in Miass (predecessor - Serko I.A. ).
Scientific activity
In 1981 he defended his Ph.D., in 1998 - a doctoraldissertations in the field of automated control systems and robotics [3] .
