Tricipitin came from the ancient patrician clan of Lucretius. His father was the consul Titus Lucretius Tricipitin .
In 462 BC e. Tricipitin was appointed consul. Tit Veturius Gemin Tsikurin became his colleague. At his consulate, he attacked the Volks , returning with huge booty after the invasion of Roman territory, and almost completely destroyed their army. For this victory, Tricipitin received a triumph . The following year, he took the initiative to save Quinton Queson, who was convicted by the tribune Virginia [1] [2] .
Tricipitin was mentioned by Dionysius of Halicarnassus as one of the prominent senators who spoke in favor of the abolition of decemvirate in 449 BC. e. [3] .
