Vediltsy ( Ukrainian: Vediltsі ) is a village of the Chernihiv region of the Chernihiv region of Ukraine , the center of the village council. It is located on both banks of the Pakulka River, 35 km southwest of Chernihiv and 7 km from the Maleyka railway station of the Chernigov – Ovruch section of the Southwest Railway [1] . The Vediles were first mentioned in letters from King Sigismund III of 1619 and Vladislav IV of 1633. Then they were part of the Chernihiv district of the Chernihiv Voivodeship [1] .
