Aura (group, Belarus)

Aura (eng. Aura, bel. “Aўra”) is a Belarusian group performing pop-rock music. This is a creative and family union of two famous authors and performers - Yulia Bykova and Yevgeny Oleinik , with more than 300 songs written for artists from Belarus , Russia , Moldova , etc., participating in such festivals and competitions as Eurovision [1] , Junior Eurovision , Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk , Musical Court, etc.

History

Yulia Bykova and Yevgeny Oleinik decided to create their own project “ Aura ” in 2005 .
"Aura" was born with the song Whisper of Silence ("Whisper of Silence"), which was written using a non-existent language with elements of English , Italian , Latin . The bold combination of complex harmony and light sound, solo singing and choral canons , modern sound and classical instruments was enjoyed by listeners and music critics : in 2006, the song took 3rd place at the Eurovision Forum Contest ( http://www.escforum.net ) [2] .
A year later, “Aura” together with American rapper Doobie (Duby) recorded the song “Night at Kupalle”, which entered the top40 dance tracks of Europe in 2007 (Eurodance festival) [3] .
In 2009, the group “Aura” was awarded the “Golden Ear” radio award [4] in the nomination “Creative potential”.
December 19, 2010 "Aura" won the ONT TV show "Musical Court" with the song "Zatrymay mine."
June 15, 2011 in the Palace of Trade Unions held a solo concert "Aura", which was presented the first album of the group. The disc called “Aura” became an assembly of the best songs written from 2005 to 2011 .
Currently preparing to release a DVD- disc concert of the group "Aura" and another solo album .
