Goals
The mission stated by the WCF states: “The World Curling Federation represents curling internationally and promotes the growth of sports through a network of national associations (federations)” [1] . The goals and objectives of WCF are:
- Represent curling internationally and promote the growth of this sport worldwide;
- To develop cooperation and mutual understanding between members of the Association and to unite curlingists around the world;
- Protect and promote the interests of world curling;
- Organization and management of curling competitions;
- To formulate curling rules for world competitions and all other competitions approved by WCF
WCF Structure
The supreme body of the World Curling Federation is the World Congress , held annually. All national federations that are members of the WCF are invited to attend the Congress.
To solve the tasks set by the Congress before the WCF, as well as the statutory requirements, delegates to the Congress elect an Executive Committee that implements the decisions of the Congress and organizes the daily activities of the WCF. It is led by the President of the World Curling Federation, elected by Congress.
The WCF has two continental federations, which are structural units of the WCF. They are authorized representatives of WCF in their geographical areas. National federations are both members of the WCF and their regional confederation.
The list of regional associations is as follows:
- European Curling Federation (ECF) - Europe ;

National Associations of the Americas are members of the WCF directly.
