Sosnovy Bor is a well-preserved artificial pine plantation in the North Kazakhstan region , created in 1905 in the Sokolovskaya GLD of the Sosnovsky Forestry, LHPP (based on the former Poludinsky forestry), a natural monument of national significance (1986). The total planting area is 26.0 ha.
Landing was carried out in intercolumn open areas on ordinary chernozems for continuous tillage [1] . Currently, trees are characterized by high quality trunks. The average diameter is 18-24 cm. The average height is 16-20 m [1] . The scientific value of the natural monument lies in the fact that Sosnovy Bor is the standard for resolving issues related to the increase in the area of pine forests in the region due to afforestation of non-forested territories [1] .
