Haliplus fluviatilis

Haliplus fluviatilis (lat.) - a species of beetles from the family of swimmers . Distributed in Europe . They live in various standing water bodies , in particular in rivers , but also in water channels , temporary water bodies with abundant aquatic vegetation , ponds , settling ponds, ditches and lakes [2] [3] [4] [5] . Body length 2.5-3.2 mm [2] . The imago is fawn yellow; antennae and palps yellow [2] [6] . Elytra widest behind shoulders, then gradually and roundly narrow towards the apex [6] .
