Big Namaland and Small Namaland
During the colonial period, Namaland was divided into two parts: Big Namaland [1] and Small Namaland [2] . Big Namaland was located north of the Orange River, and Small Namaland was on the south. At first they belonged to the German colony, but then passed to the British. Greater Namaland began from the 23rd degree of south latitude to the mentioned Orange River.
