Gameplay

Each episode consists of 12 levels . Most levels contain a hostage who needs to be saved, or a boss who needs to be killed. Only in four cases the levels do not contain such requirements. At the levels are platforms, monsters, streamlines, water, acids, protective walls and much more. The playing time of the game is not limited.

There are three difficulty levels in the game.

Edition

The game features three episodes: Dr. Mangle's Lab, The Hidden Lab, Master Cain. During the release of the game, only the first of them was available under a free license. Sales in 2000 were discontinued due to the incompatibility of the game on the new operating systems of that time.

On December 23, 2005, 3D Realms made a “Christmas present”: it released the entire Bio Menace game under a free license, and the game itself became available on the company's website. On October 23, 2014, 3D Realms released the game as part of the 3D Realms Anthology collection [1] .
