Dashiqiao

It is said that when Emperor Li Shimin went to war on Goguryeo , his horse got stuck in the mud when crossing the river, and the emperor ordered a stone bridge to be built here for easy access.

From July 24 to July 25, 1904 there was a battle at Dashitsiao Russian-Japanese war .

In 1946, Yingkou County (营口 县; the former county with the same name became Yingkou City in 1937) was created from the adjacent lands of Xichang and Gaisian counties, which, after the founding of the PRC, became part of Liaodong Province. In 1954, Liaodong and Liaosi provinces were merged into Liaoning Province, and the county became part of the Liaoyang Special Region (辽阳 专区). In November 1958, he came under the direct control of the authorities of the city of Yingkou. In June 1966, Yingkou County was transferred to the Liaonan Special Region (辽 南 专区), but on December 26, 1968, the Liaonan Special District was disbanded and the county returned to the jurisdiction of the Yingkou city authorities.

In November 1992, Yingkou County was transformed into Dashitsiao City County.

Dashiqiao City County is divided into 5 street committees and 13 villages .

In the west, the city district of Dashitsiao faces the Bohai Bay of the Yellow Sea and borders on the Laobian region, in the south it borders on the city district of Gaizhou, in the north-east on the city district of Anshan , in the north-west on the city district of Panjin.
