The capacity of the stadium is 26,240 seats [1] . The Pancritio was built for the 2004 Summer Olympics .
It hosted two games of Group C: Tunisia - Australia (August 11, 1-1) and Serbia / Montenegro - Australia (August 14, 1-5). And the three games of Group D: Costa Rica - Morocco (August 12, 0-0), Morocco - Portugal (August 15, 1-2) and Costa Rica - Portugal (August 18, 4-2). And one quarterfinal game: Iraq - Australia (August 21, 1-0).
After the Olympics, the stadium became the home arena of the Ergotelis club. The second local club OFI holds the most important matches here, and usually plays at the old stadium Theodoros Vardinoiannis .
