Biography

Labed was born in Greece in a French family. After a 10-year period in dance mastery, she entered the University of Provence with a degree in Theory and Practice of Art. He is one of the founders of the Vasistas Theater Company, where she played in all performances.

In 2010, she won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress in the film “ Attenberg ” at the 2010 Venice Film Festival .

A year later, the actress appeared in the movie " Alps ", directed by her husband, Yorgos Lantimos . Later, in the same year she starred in the TV series " Black Mirror ". And in 2012, Ariana can be seen in the movie “ Before Midnight ” and in the short film “Capsule”.

In 2014, Ariana got the main role in the film Lucy Borleto ( Fr. ) " Fidelio or Odyssey of Alice / Fidelio, l'odyssée d'Alice ". For the role in this film, the actress received the nomination "The Most Promising Actress" for the Cesar Award. In 2016, Ariana Labed starred in the films “ Stopover / Voir du pays ” and “ Assassin 's Creed ”. In 2018, the actress played a role in the movie drama " Mary Magdalene ", about the life of the most famous follower of Jesus Christ .
