Geography
Oron is located 33 km southeast of Metz . Neighboring communes: Fremeri and Lucy in the north, Villery-sur-Nieu and Marty in the northeast, Brein and Chateau-Brein in the east, Fonteni in the south, Vivier in the southwest, Tenkri in the west, Prevokur and Bakur in the northwest .
