Kymenlaakso ( Fin. Kymenlaakso , Swede. Kymmenedalen ) - an area in the south of modern Finland . In the south it is washed by the Gulf of Finland , in the southeast - the state border with the Russian Federation ( Leningrad region ), in the north-east with the region of South Karelia , in the north - from South Savo , in the north-west - from PΓ€yΓ€t-HΓ€me , in the south- in the west - from Uusimaa .
