Until 374, the proconsul of Africa [3] . From May 21 [1] - July 19, 374 [3] was the prefect of Rome.

Apparently, by his order, as the prefect of the city, a certain Terence (corrector of Tuscia) was executed. This was a man who had earlier reported to the prefect of the city of Orfit , accusing him of embezzlement, and then he himself got involved in fraud and went through the case of naviculararis (“bread business”) [4] .

During his prefecture, a flood hit the city. Due to heavy rains, the Tiber River spilled and flooded almost the entire city. There was a problem with the message, and to prevent hunger, a large amount of food was delivered by boat. The prefect himself acted with complete calm.

There were no riots against him, since he listened to complaints in a timely manner. He restored many public buildings. One of them was the portico of the Bonus of Eventus, adjacent to the temple of this deity [5] .

He was a member of the collegium of Quindecimvir sacraments ( Quindecimviri sacris faciundis ) [3] .

He was a zealous pagan and performed tavroboli on July 19, 374 (possibly being in the post of prefect).

Nothing is known about his family ties, but is possibly related to the 379 consul , Quintus Claudius Germogenian Olibry .
