Geiranger ( Nor. Geiranger ) - a village in Norway , located at the end of the Geirangerfjord in the Norwegian province (fülk) Møre og Romsdal . The population of the village has approximately 300 inhabitants, but in the summer months its population increases sevenfold. Residents live almost exclusively in tourism. In addition to shipping ships, Hurtigruten annually enters the Geiranger Fjord and, accordingly, in the village of more than a hundred cruise ships annually. A car ferry runs several times a day to Hellesult, crossing the fjord. Perhaps the most impressive view of the village and the fjord opens from the 1.5 km Dalsnibba mountain where you can get by car, bus, motorcycle for a small fee or free by bike.
