Biography

Boris Weisbane was born in Chisinau into a Jewish family. [1] Graduated from Odessa Civil Engineering Institute (1951). He worked at the Chisinau Design Institute "Moldgiprostroy" (now "Urbanproject"). [2] Participated in the planning of the Budeshti neighborhood, the author of several other projects in Chisinau. [3]

Winner of many architectural competitions. Laureate of the State Prize of the Moldavian SSR .

  • The building of the State Bank (together with S. M. Shoikhet and G. L. Kalyuzhnerom, 1972-1973) [4] ( rum. )

  • House of Culture of Railway Workers (with S. M. Shoikhet )
  • Wine College (with S. Shoikhet and M. Eremchuk, Kozhushna) [5]
  • Hotel "Tourist" (with V. Zakharov and M. Eremchuk, 1981) [6]
  • The building of the Ministry of Agriculture (in the past - the Council of Collective Farms and Agroprom, with S. Shoikhet and A. Chmykhov) [7] [8]

  • Children's Clinic on Ryshkanovka (with T. Lomova)
