Patricia Carola Velásquez Semprun ( Spanish: Patricia Carola Velásquez Semprún ; January 31, 1971 , Maracaibo , Venezuela ) is a famous Venezuelan film actress and model. Most known for the films “ The Mummy Returns ” ( 2001 ), “ Jaguar ” ( 1996 ) and Mind Hunters ( 2004 ).

Biography
Patricia Velazquez was born in Maracaibo , the largest city in the western part of Venezuela, near the Colombian border, in a family of teachers, she was the fifth in a row of six children.
Until 4 years, Patricia Velazquez lived in Paris , then - in Mexico City , where her father worked for UNESCO .
Both mother and father of Patricia were educators and gave her an excellent education.
Patricia Velazquez started as a dancer, but at 17 she was accidentally opened by a top model agency, and very soon she was literally torn to pieces by the most famous model houses in the world. Already in 1988 she participated in the fashion show Dolce & Gabbana .
She also starred for Chanel 's Allure perfume, Roberto Verino's Verino perfume and is featured in Victoria's Secret's lingerie catalog.
In 1989, she participated in the Miss Venezuela contest, but took only seventh place. She worked in Italy, Spain, France, Great Britain, Japan, and then became the first South American top model in New York .
In 1997, she left the podium and began taking acting classes, after which she began a fast acting career.
In February 2015, Patricia released her memoirs “Walk Straight” ( English Straight Walk ), in which she spoke about her difficult youth and relations with Sandra Bernhard . [one]
