It starts on the northern slope of the Askhachny Uval ridge, flows in a general northern direction among the birch-larch forests [4] . It flows into the Maksimovka river on the left at a distance of 52 km from its mouth [3] . It has seven nameless tributaries [4] .
According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Anadyro-Kolyma Basin District .
