Biography

Grigory Markovich Slutsky was born in Kiev on September 8, 1916 . He graduated from the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute (1940).

He died in Kiev on March 1, 1990, at the 74th year of his life. [2]

  • Main Post Office Building (1952–1956)
  • River Station Building (1959–1960)
  • The project of the residential area Obolon (1970–1973)
  • Projects of multi-storey residential buildings
  • The draft master plan of Kiev (1964-1967).

Memory

In 2016, Ukrposhta issued 400 thousand copies in circulation to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Grigory Slutsky. an envelope dedicated to him with the original stamp (portrait of G. M. Slutsky, artist Gennady Zadnepryany), as well as an image of one of the architect’s creations - the building of the Kiev Post Office . Special cancellation was held at the Main Post Office on September 8, 2016. [3] [4]
