Career
He studied football at the St. Obins preparatory school. At the age of 13, he began to receive a school scholarship while studying at Ardingley College, after which he went to the academy of the Brighton and Hove Albion team. In the 2004/2005 season he became the player of the base, which helped the club to maintain its place in the Championship.
In July 2005, Adam unexpectedly moved to Celtic for £ 1.5 million. [1] Virgo ambiguously debuted for the Celts, being replaced in the first match after breaking the rules in his own penalty area. He spent the second game against Motherwell and was recognized as the best player of the match, as reported by the official website of Celtic and Setanta TV channel.
On August 7, 2006, he was bought out on loan to Coventry City [2] , but at the end of the month he suffered a knee injury, which is why on August 31 Virgo returned to the location of Celtic. [3] On August 17, 2007, he went on loan to Colchester United , who was then competing in the Championship. [four]
June 13, 2008 Virgo left Celtic and returned to Brighton and Hove Albion . In the first two meetings of the 2008/2009 season, he scored three goals, which pleased the fans of the club. [5] Adam claimed that he was not given the opportunity to play in the Scottish "Celtic" (only 10 games), and he was suppressed after the death of his father and injury. [6] Soon Virgo was no longer called to the line-up, and on June 30 he left the club. [7] On July 3, he joined the team at Yeovil Town , in which he played the entire season of the First League. In the second half of the season, he began to drop out and at the end of the First League championship he signed a contract with Bristol Rovers, becoming the team's vice-captain there.
