Wet (Wet) is a village in the Karachevsky district of the Bryansk region , as part of the Karachevsky urban settlement .
Located 9 km west of Karachev . The population is 87 people ( 2010 ).

Content

History

Arose in the XVIII century , the former possession of the Karachevsky Resurrection Monastery ; later it was in the parish of the village of Berezhok .

Until 1929, it was part of the Karachevsky district (since 1861 - as part of the Dragoon volost , since 1925 in the Karachevsky volost ).
In the 19th century, it was subdivided into Bolshaya Wet ( ) and Malaya Wet ( ); Small to the northeast of the Big. In 1906, a literacy school was opened.

Since 1929 in the Karachevsky district; Until 2005, it was a member of the Trykovsky Village Council.
