Z-Star musicians, Mia Cooper, Nadia Miranda, Chris Cornell , Flora Pyurim, Barabara Cassini and Gary Gow took part in the recording of the album ^[3] . The first single from the album was the song “Lost and Found”, recorded with the participation of Mia Cooper ^[4] , the second - “The Alchemist”. The songs “Wicked”, “The Game” and “Lies” were also released as singles.

The observers, though they favorably accepted the record, did not hide its flaws. Denis Shlyantsev from the newspaper Vzglyad.ru believes that Gabin once again performs acoustic pop with female jazz vocals in combination with keyboard and wind instruments . In their opinion, Third and Double is pleasant, but homogeneous and loses its power upon careful listening ^[1] . Joy Tartaglia from music.com.ua believes that at Third and Double Gabin they tried to take the listener not by quality but by quantity, and also noted that it would be bad to find fault with the quality of the album, as the musicians carefully brought out the instrumental parts , the strings inspire reverie, the wind blows now with the correct longing, now with the “on-duty” optimism, then the jazz vocals sound. According to his review, Italians are no longer the same as they came on the European stage in 2002 , although they freely feel themselves in foggy-streamlined melodies that resonate with pop music of the 30s and 50s , rock and electronics 2000- x , with a 60's shower and lounge . The most pleasant moment was that the columnist considered the participation of the soloist Chris Cornell from Soundgarden on the vocals for the pop guitar rock song “Lies”, but he called it difficult to recognize, considering that the entire album also had almost no connection to the band's early work. Despite this, the critic did not recognize Gabin as a bad group, at the same time mentioning that they almost ceased to be dissimilar to everyone else, and also added that the quantity had turned into something completely different from the quality one would like ^[2] .

In the Italian charts, the album reached 40th place ^[5] . In the Greek chart took the 33 position ^[6] .
