Sports Biography
When Eric started boxing , he was mainly told that he won’t leave the athlete, that with such a build he would “die” after two jumps in the shuttle. Eric proved the opposite to skeptics. He became the world boxing champion in the minor version of the International Boxing Association (IBA), and in the version of the little-known World Sports Association (WAA) in the world. At the same time, he spent 89 fights in the professional ring, of which 77 won, of which 59 by knockout . He was called the king of 4-round fights due to the fact that he spent almost all the fights according to the 4x3 formula (4 rounds of 3 minutes each). He also performed in mixed martial arts , in Pride , K-1 and several lesser-known organizations. Of the twenty-six fights, he won seventeen. In addition, he also acted as a kickboxer , having spent seven professional fights, winning three of them. Ash now lives in Jasper (Alabama), has three children and owns Mr. Bean Barbecue Restaurant. Ash began his boxing career with the Toughman Contest television show, something like the current Challenger show, an amateur boxing competition among ordinary people. Eric became the five-time champion of this show. Moving to MMA, Ash continued to delight his fans and experiment with styles. So, with Bob Sapp, famous for his strong physique, he even held a match according to the rules of Sumo wrestling.
We can say that Ash created a rather remarkable phenomenon in the world of boxing and mixed martial arts, because he managed to prove that fat men can not only fight, but also win.
