About the album
Ana Carrill Obiols, Joseph Fargier and saxophonist Stefano Di Battista , who played the soprano saxophone in the compositions “ Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap ” and “Urban Night” [1], took part in the recording of the disc. The album was released on Virgin Records and immediately liked lovers of bold musical experiments. It contains compositions with sounds of gypsy string guitars, trip-hop elements of the 90s, deep forest ethnic melodies , trance in the style of Paul Okenfold , and also listens to partial elements of Cafe del Mar music [2] .
The songs "Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap", "Sweet Sadness", "La Maison", "Une histoire d'amoure" and "Azul Anil" were released by singles. Only “Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap” achieved great success, taking fifth place in the charts of the Italian Singles Chart [3] , and the disc itself took ninth place in the Italian Albums Chart [4] . "Azul Anil" was released as the fifth single from the album in 2003 . On this track, the British band Da Lata made many remixes [5] .
The songs “Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap” and “Une histoire d'amoure” were filmed [6] [7] .
