Chukchi Plateau

The Chukchi Plateau ( Chukchi Rise ) is a large submarine ridge in the Arctic Ocean [1] [2] . All year covered with ice.

The Chukchi Plateau lies about 800 kilometers north of Cape Barrow , Alaska [1] [2] . The most elevated part of the plateau was identified during the expedition of the station North Pole-2 (1950-1951) [3] .
