Splice plate - a design for laying and securing splices of optical fibers of different cables .
It also serves to store the technological reserve of optical fibers in the coupling or cross .
It is usually installed in special boxes near the patch panels . The splice plate is designed to accommodate the places of welding optical fiber in the so-called cross.
Additional splice plates can be added to existing ones in the cross-country by installing them on top of each other on the guides.
