The meteor is one of the artificially cultivated decorative breeds of the aquarium " goldfish " ( lat. Carassius gibelio forma auratus varr. ( Hervey and Hems, 1948 )), characterized by the absence of a tail.

Fish "Meteor" was bred by breeders for the industrial cultivation of goldfish and is one of the strangest and most amazing breeds of the series. This breed of fish is so rare that rumors have appeared that it is fictitious. [one]
Description
Fish "Meteor" is a descendant of a breed of goldfish under the name " Ryukin " ("Nymph"). All the main features and coloring correspond to the standard of nymphs, but the distinctive feature of the meteor goldfish is the complete absence of a caudal fin or the presence of a small vestigial , which was the name of this goldfish.
It is unacceptable to keep these fish in spherical aquariums, in which very weak water gas exchange due to narrowing up the opening of the tank and the fish suffocates. The desired volume for the content is from 100 liters of water per individual.
