- Black-and-white butterfly - “ Panda ”: similar to a large Chinese panda ;
- Orange butterfly - all orange, which is also called the "red butterfly"; [four]
- Red-white butterfly - the form does not differ from the others, but it is peculiar and original in color: the body is covered with large red-white heels, and on the tail fin there are small black specks and small spots; [five]
- Red-black butterfly - all fin ends of the red fish, black; [6]
- Black butterfly . [7]

Veil varieties with an elongated fin shape appear, but having lost the tail form in the form of a butterfly , they are no longer so magnificent.
Demanding on high oxygen content in water. It is easy to tolerate low temperatures and does not require heating. It can be kept in a school with calm breeds and species of fish, but it is not advisable to keep them with haracin fish and other active and lively fish that can ruffle their tails and cut off their fins.
