Story
The film begins with a mention of Kinsky's performances on stage. Moving around the country, he read monologues about the life of Jesus Christ . Kinski refused to participate in one of these “Jesus tours” for the sake of filming in Herzog’s first film, Aguirre, God's Wrath (1972). Subsequently, he starred in four films: “ Nosferatu - the ghost of the night ” (1978), “ Wojciek ” (1979), “ Fitzcarraldo ” (1982), “ Green Cobra ” (1988).
The film presents shots from films cut during installation, Herzog's memories of a difficult relationship with Kinsky, and interviews. In addition to Herzog, actors Claudia Cardinale , Justo Gonzalez and Eva Mattes , photographer Beat Presser and others share their memories of working with Kinsky.
