Andrei Olegovich Belyanin (born January 24, 1967 , Astrakhan , USSR ) is a Russian prose writer and poet who writes in the fantasy genre .

Biography
Andrei Belyanin was born on January 24, 1967 in Astrakhan . Having studied for 8 years at school, he entered the Vlasov Astrakhan Art College at the painting and teaching department.
At the end of the 4th year he began to study poetry professionally. He served 2 years on the border with Turkey as part of the Novorossiysk border guard detachment. Andrei is proud of this and does not consider the time of military service to be lost.
In 1994 he was admitted to the Union of Writers of Russia , being at that time the author of three poetry collections and fairy tales “Red and Striped”, “Order of the Porcelain Knights”, and having passed two seminars in prose and poetry.
In 1995 , after the publication of these works in the journal Yunost , he received a proposal for cooperation from the Armada publishing house. The publisher liked the Samizdat version of Jack the Crazy King .
He worked as a teacher at the school, deputy chairman of the local branch of the Union of Writers of Russia, led a literary studio, published newspapers, published poems by aspiring poets.
On May 12, 2004, the 13-year-old son of Andrei Belyanin, Ivan, was abducted and killed [1] by schoolmates [2] [3] . Subsequently, one of the killers was also abducted and killed [4] .
In 2014, Andrei Belyanin, as part of the Astrakhan Cossacks, participated in security measures during the referendum in Crimea, for which he has a state award - the medal “For the Return of Crimea”.

Recognition and Rewards
- Twice winner of the diploma of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for creating a “positive image of a police officer”.
- In 2001, the Alpha Book publishing house established the annual Sword Without a Name award to encourage young and unknown authors working in the genre of action-packed and humorous fiction and to revive the best traditions of Russian literature [5] .
- March 31, 2009 awarded a medal to them. N. V. Gogol [6] .
- At the end of March 2013, RosCon was called the science fiction writer of the year at the festival (in 2012, it was he who had the largest circulations) [7] .
