The Eternal Flame memorial complex is a complex in honor of the defenders of the Motherland, residents of the city of Salavat , who died in heroic battles.

The memorial complex is located on Salavat Yulaev Boulevard, next to the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity. The complex was opened in 1981. The complex includes:
- The eternal flame with a monument (boat on a pedestal). The inscription on the monument "In memory of the sailors defenders of the motherland in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." The inscription on the boat "In memory of the immortal feat of veterans of the Great Patriotic War"
- Anti-aircraft artillery mount - 100 mm gun.
- Katyusha rocket launcher
- The T-34/76 tank of the 1941-1942 model, which took part in the battles in the Baryatinsky district of the Kaluga region in March 1942.
- Armored personnel carrier
- Memorial plates to the Heroes of the Soviet Union - Beketov V.S. , Sukhorukov A.Ya. , Akhtyamov H.B. and Hero of Russia - Trubanov V.E.
- Granite wall with photos of Heroes
- Granite slab with the inscription: “The square is dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland. Laid down on May 9, 2000
Content
History
Since 1981, the memorial complex included a monument with a boat and eternal flame. The patrol boat was delivered by rail from Kerch. At the opening ceremony of the complex, specially invited veterans participated in the fighting on Malaya Zemlya. By the 65th anniversary of the Victory, the memorial complex was reconstructed and supplemented with military equipment and memorial plates and a granite wall.
Today, memorial events are held at the Eternal Flame of Glory memorial, [1] honoring veterans and laying wreaths in memory of the fallen residents of Salavat.
Every year on February 14 (the day Soviet troops left Afghanistan), May 9 (Victory Day), June 22 (remembrance and tribulation day) and weekly on Saturdays, newlyweds, after registering at the registry office near the memorial monument, lay flowers.

The general contractor for the reconstruction project of the memorial complex is Municipal Enterprise Flora.
The T-34 tank was purchased as a gift to the city of Salavat by an enterprise of OAO Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat .
The monument - boat "Sailors - Defenders of the Homeland" was brought from Kerch in memory of the dead sailors of the Black Sea Fleet, on the initiative of the war veteran - Midshipman Galiev Mikhal Romanovich. Opened July 29, 1980 on Salavat Yulaev Boulevard.
