The 2nd Joint Operational Force ( English Joint Task Force 2, JTF2 ) - the elite special forces of the Canadian armed forces , mainly involved in counter-terrorism operations. Together with the Canadian Special Forces Regiment , the 427th Special Purpose Squadron and the Canadian Joint Emergency Unit, the 2nd OOG forms the operational units of the Canadian Special Forces Command .
