Geography
The Surava River originates in the Tambov district . It flows northward through an open area through the village of the same name Surava . Several ponds are formed on the river. The mouth of the river is located opposite the village of Chelnavo-Rozhdestvenskoye , 72 km along the right bank of the river Chelnovaya. The length of the Surava River is 24 km.
