The length of the river is 23 km [2] . The source is about 10 km northwest of the village of Prostory, Kvarkensky district, Orenburg region [3] . The direction of the current is northwest. The middle and lower reaches pass within the boundaries of the Kizilsky district of the Chelyabinsk region.
It flows into the Urals on the left bank in 1938 km from its mouth, at the southern edge of the village of Musin [4] (the only settlement in the basin).
The river is drying up, the flow is regulated.

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Ural basin district , the water sector of the river is the Urals from Magnitogorsk hydroelectric complex to Iriklinsky hydroelectric complex . The river basin is the Urals (the Russian part of the basin) [2] .
