It flows through the territory of the Tyomkin district . The source is near the village of Motovilovo , flows into the Ugra river, 185 km from its mouth on the left bank. The length of the river is 16 km, the catchment area is 123 km².
Along the river, there are settlements of Selensky and Medvedevsky rural settlements - the villages of Motovilovo, Shubkino , Zanenki , Vlasovo , Medvedevo , Lytievo and Levkino .
