The source of the river is near the village of Zhureleyka, 8 km southwest of the city of Ardatov . The upper and middle reaches of the river pass through Ardatovsky district, the lower - along Kulebaksky. The river flows to the northeast, then to the northwest. The village of Kuzhendeevo flows , below which flows through the territory of the city of Ardatov . Within the city on the river is a dam and a dam. Below Ardatov, the villages of Lemet and Turkusha flow . It falls into Tyosha below the village of Gremyachevo .
