Story
Educated in England , Daisy Forbes returns to China , the country where she was born. There, tragic news awaits the girl - her father died, and Daisy herself became an outcast, as they learned in society that the Chinese nanny who raised the girl was actually her mother. Daisy falls in love with George Tabis, the nephew of the British consul in China, but he breaks her heart, at the insistence of her uncle, abandoning the girl in favor of a diplomat career.
Further, having stupefied the girl’s mind with drugs and hypnosis , she is abducted by Chinese villain Lee Tai, but Harry Anderson comes to the aid of the girl. He marries her, but then disgustedly realizes that he married a half-breed and regrets his hasty act. Daisy is looking for a repentant Tavis. He is going to go to England and, despite Anderson’s ban, meets with the girl to say goodbye. Anderson wants to kill Tavis, but after drinking the wine poisoned by Li Ty, he dies. Tavis takes Daisy to England, and Lee Tay is executed for murder.
