Vysokovo is a village in the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region of Russia . Refers to the Teryaevsky rural settlement ; before the municipal reform of 2006, it belonged to the Teryaevsky rural district [2] [3] .

Geography
The village of Vysokovo is located on the Loknash River (the Ivankovo Reservoir Basin), about 18 km northeast of the city of Volokolamsk . There are two streets in the village - Zarechnaya and Polevaya [4] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Rodionovo , Maloe Stromilovo and Chashch .
In Volokolamsk district there is another village with the same name, it is part of the urban settlement Sychevo .

History
In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Vysokoye is the state village of the 1st camp of the Klinsky district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Volokolamsk tract, 46 miles from the county town, by the Loknosh river, with 38 yards and 325 inhabitants (153 men, 172 women) [6] .
According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Kaleevsky volost of the Klinsky district, the number of souls was 384 people [7] .
In 1913 - 46 yards, 5 paper and weaving mills and the Zemstvo school [12] .
In 1917, the Kaleyevsky volost was transferred to Volokolamsk district [13] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census, the center of the Vysokovsky Village Council of the Kaleyevsky Volost, 346 residents (166 men, 180 women) lived, there were 64 peasant farms, and there was a school [9] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.
