Geography
The Nerleika River originates at the village of Mikhailovka. Flowing east. The mouth of the river is located below the village of Maryanovka , 445 km along the left bank of the Sura River. The length of the river is 24 km. The catchment area is 116 km². [2]

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Verkhnevolzhsky Basin District , the water sector of the river Sura from the Sura hydroelectric complex to the mouth of the Alatyr river, the river sub-basin of the river is Sura.
