Steinaya - a river in Russia , flows in the Soligalichsky district of the Kostroma region . The mouth of the river is 4 km along the right bank of the Sovega (Sevdyuga) river. The length of the river is 12 km.

The source of Steinoy is located in swamps on the border of the Kostroma and Vologda regions, about 32 km north of Soligalich . The entire course of the river lies in a swampy, uninhabited forest. The general direction of the current is the northwest; there are no large tributaries.
