Kokhtysh - a river in Russia , flows in the Gryazovets district of the Vologda region . The mouth of the river is 36 km along the left bank of the river Lezha . The length of the river is 21 km.

It originates about 15 km north-east of Gryazovets , near the village of Suvorovo ( Komyansk municipal entity ). The general direction of the current is north. A chain of towns and villages is spread along the river: Yevsyukovo , Berendeevo , Bogoslovo , Ascension , Schekutievo , Sychevo , Nizovka , Bushuikha

It falls into Lezhu opposite the village of Zimnyak (Gryazovets district) .

According to the Russian State Water Register , it belongs to the Dvina-Pechora Basin District , the water sector of the river is the Northern Dvina from the beginning of the river to the confluence of the Vychegda River , without the South and Sukhon rivers (from the source to the Kubensky hydroelectric complex ), and the Sukhon river sub-basin. The river basin is the Northern Dvina [2] .
