Kontyug - a river in Russia , flows in the Vologda region , in the Kichmengo-Gorodetsky and Velikoustyugsky areas . The mouth of the river is 71 km along the left bank of the Strelna River. The length of the river is 16 km. 3 km from the mouth on the left bank flows the river Kotlyanka .

The source of the river is in the Kichmengo-Gorodetsky district , 44 km southeast of the village of Poldarsa (the center of the Opoksky rural settlement ). The first kilometers flow in the Kichmengo-Gorodetsky district, the rest - in Velikoustyugsky district. It flows through an uninhabited forest to the north. The channel is meandering. The largest tributaries are the Big Konyug (left), the Small Konyug (right), Kotyulka (left). There are no settlements on the banks.
