Voya (tributary of Ihalitsa)

Voya is a river in Russia , flows in the Totemsky and Mezhdurechensky districts of the Vologda region and the Soligalichsky district of the Kostroma region, the right and largest tributary of Ihalitsa . The mouth of the river is 9 km from the mouth of Ihalitsa. The river is 76 km long [2] .

The source of Voi is located in the southwestern part of the Totemsky district near the border with the Kostroma region. In the upper reaches the river flows among the forests, in the lower reaches - among the high marshes, taking here its largest tributary - the river Sovega (also known as Sovdyuga or Sevdyuga). The main direction of the current is from east to west.

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Dvina-Pechora Basin District , the water sector of the river is the Northern Dvina from the beginning of the river to the confluence of the Vychegda River , without the South and Sukhon rivers (from the source to the Kubensky hydroelectric complex ), and the river sub-basin of the river is Sukhon.
