Berlya [2] (obsolete. Burley ) is a river in Russia that flows in the Kaybitsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan . Right tributary of the Birla River.

Geography
The Berlja River originates from the village of Pleteni . It flows to the north-east in an open area. The mouth of the river is located below the village of Bolshoi Kaybitsy 24 km on the right bank of the Birla River. The river is 17 km long.

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Upper Volga basin district , the water sector of the river is Sviyaga from the village of Alsheevo to the mouth, the river sub-basin is the Volga from the Oka inlet to the Kuibyshev reservoir (without the Sura basin). The river basin - (Upper) Volga to the Kuibyshev reservoir (without the Oka basin) [3] .
