Khirivalu [2] [3] - a river in Russia , flows in the Rutul district of the Republic of Dagestan . The river is 22 km long [4] . The catchment area is 127 km² [4] .

It begins on the southern slope of the Dyultydag ridge [3] . It flows in a general southeast direction along the Chulta ridge through the villages of Arakul and Lower Katrukh [3] . The mouth of the river is 17 km along the left bank of the Kara-Samur River [4] .

The main tributaries are the Alingany, Ethany, Nurzukkalany, Nussa rivers (all are left) [3] .
