Pyryyakha [2] (obsolete. Pyryn-Yakha ) - a river in Russia , flows through the territory of the Purovsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District . It begins in Lake Pyryalor, lying on the border of the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts at an altitude of 118.2 meters above sea level [3] . It flows in a northeast direction through a pine - birch forest [3] [4] . Near the mouth intersects the road Surgut - Muravlenko . The mouth of the river is 66 km along the left bank of the Ituyakh river at an altitude of 92 meters above sea level [4] . The river is 18 km long [5] .

Hydronym
The name comes from the forest Nenets language , which sounds like Pyӆi dyha and has the meaning of ' pike river' [6] .
