Nyucha-Ituyakha - a river in Russia , flows through the territory of the Purovsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District . It begins in the lake district in the south of the region near Lake Ituyahato [2] , flows northwest through the cedar - birch forest, at the intersection with the road Noyabrsk - Surgut turns north and maintains this direction to the mouth [3] . In the middle reaches, the riverbanks are swampy [4] , in the lower reaches of the river valley there are spruce and larch. The mouth of the river is 20 km along the right bank of the Ituyakh river at an altitude of 79.4 meters above sea level [5] . The river is 55 km long [6] .

Hydronym
The name comes from the forest Nenets language , which sounds like Nyucha a child and has the meaning of 'small chёbachka river' [7] .
